2. Protected content
Protection extends, by way of example and not limitation, to:

3. Uses not permitted without authorisation
Except as provided in section 4, it is prohibited, in whole or in part and by any means or format, without the prior express written authorisation of Aquila Corde Armoniche srl, to:
- copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute the text of the essays, including partially reworded versions;
- download, save and reuse the photographs, illustrations, technical drawings and diagrams appearing in the articles, on any medium (websites, print, presentations, catalogues, teaching or promotional material);
- translate the content into other languages for publication or distribution to third parties;
- create derivative works (adaptations, digests, summaries intended for publication) based on the site's content;
- use the content to train, feed or validate artificial intelligence systems or machine learning models;
- use the content for any commercial purpose.
Breach of the above may give rise to civil and criminal liability under Articles 171 et seq. of Law 633/1941.
4. Quotation for criticism, discussion and teaching
Uses expressly permitted by law remain unaffected and do not require prior authorisation, in particular the summary, quotation or reproduction of excerpts or parts of a work for purposes of criticism, discussion, teaching or scientific research, within the limits of Article 70 of Law 633/1941, provided that:
- the quotation does not compete with the economic exploitation of the work;
- the essay title, the author (Mimmo Peruffo) and the source (ricerche.aquilacorde.com) are always credited, preferably with a hyperlink to the original page;
- it does not amount to reproducing the essay in full or a substantial part of it.
5. How to request authorisation
To request authorisation to reproduce, translate or otherwise reuse text or images — for example for scientific publications, exhibitions, museum catalogues, or teaching or editorial material — write specifying the exact content you wish to use, the context and how it will be published, to:
aquila@aquilacorde.com
Aquila Corde Armoniche srl, Via Aviano 16, 36030 Caldogno (VI), Italy
Any authorisation, if granted, is issued in writing and may be subject to specific conditions (attribution, scope of use, duration, possible fee).
6. Third-party material referenced in the articles
Some essays reproduce, for illustrative and study purposes, historical images, engravings, paintings or pages from early treatises whose original work may be in the public domain or belong to third parties (museums, libraries, archives). In these cases the source is credited in the image caption. This notice makes no claim over such third-party original works, but applies to the selection, scanning, graphic processing and editorial placement carried out by Aquila Corde Armoniche srl. Anyone wishing to reuse such images should independently verify rights with the third party named in the caption.
7. Reporting infringements
If you believe this site's content has been reproduced without authorisation on other sites or publications, or that content published here infringes third-party rights, write to aquila@aquilacorde.com.
